Was your dad Leroy Porterfield? If so I remember you. Don't you have a sister named
Lena?

My maiden name is Whitfield. I was born and raised at Pineville, married William Earl
(Squirrel) Estes. We graduated from high school at Calico Rock in 1960.

I don't really have any more information on the Yanceys. The obituary states that
Austin was the son of Maxie Yancey, so this is probably the line connected to the
Porterfields. Austin's wife, Essie Clark, is Dad's cousin. Her parents were Ed and
Alice Whitfield Clark.
