Evalyn,
May I make a suggestion about posting the "occupants" of a cemetery to a
website?
They have cemetery listings on the Stone County site
(http://members.nbci.com/stonecoargen/index.htm) - not all of them have the
names of those buried there but those that do have the names is just
that....names.
For example, here's the listing for the Gaylor Cemetery:
"The Gayler Cemetery is located on Sylamore Creek near the Gayler crossing.
This photo was taken by Connie Crymes in the early spring of 1996. The
following information was taken from the Stone County Arkansas Cemetery
Records compiled by Freda Daum Massey. This publication is out of print at
the current time.
ALLEN, Effie
ALLEN, Milton
ALLEN, William I.

Unfortunately, in this case, the cemetery listing book is out of print and
I'm not sure the lady who published it is even still living but at least
it's a starting point of where to (maybe) obtain the dates, right?
I've asked - and received - permission from Carroll Hayden to post the names
of those buried in the "New" Jeffery Cemetery in Stone County. I'll just
list the names and put a little "blurb" like the one above with Carroll's
name, the name of his cemetery book and his email or snail mail address
where to obtain the book.
It's on my list of things to do "one of these day." <BG>

Mornin' Junebug!
Question for you, have you ever transcribed those who are buried in the
cemetery just down the road from you. A lot of my Wilson's are there! Is it
HARD to get around in or is it maintained? I want to go there and
transcribe it for myself and NOT use what is already in a book....because of
copyright
infringement when I want to put it on my web site!
