Here is a bit more info to muddy the water about "Brushy" Dixon.
From my Marchant file, John B. "Brushy" Dixon, b. 4 Feb 1812,
md. Miranda Clemons, they had a daughter, Amanda Frances
Dixon, b 26 March 1848, who married A.A. "Shan" Marchant.
Brushy Dixon was the son of Matthew Dixon, b. 1783......hrb

<I know that there are Langston researchers among us! I have a question.
Would anyone know the parents of the Caleb Langston that married Luvenia
Dixon? Luvenia was the daughter of Brushy Dixon. I'm trying to fit Caleb in
with the rest of my Langstons and am having trouble.
