Hello to all,

My first post to this list was to query where in Izard County
Big Springs Township would have been located. A very nice lady
named Joyce responded with very helpful information. Along with
her help and many maps I was able to pretty well pinpoint the
area. Many thanks Joyce. I do have a fairly decent database on
the surnames mentioned above and many others from around Izard
and Independence County, Arkansas, but as usual have many black
holes still to fill. I do hope that as I read the postings here
there will be times when I will be able to contribute to the
postings of others.

In the meantime, I would love to hear from anyone acquainted or
related, no matter how far removed, to the surnames above. I
have many questions on the history of this area of Arkansas and
hope to also clear some of those up.
