If you come across a marriage date for Oba Earl Brown & Maude, please let me
know.

Bernie, I have heard of a Purdy Marlin. One time when I took my Mom to view
the old Frank Kent home place between Maxville and Sidney in Sharp County,
my Mom mentioned a Marlin woman that used to run a little store and she
pointed in the direction of where it had been located. However, I don't
really know anything about the family except what Mom mentioned that day. I
am not certain but seemed that Purdy was the spouse of the woman with the
store.

Vera, I will check out your information and let you know if I think the
obituary would be beneficial. At this point, I don't know the names of Oba
Earl Brown's children. I think he was known as Earl.

I might mention here that the Frank Kent I mentioned above is not the Frank
Kent that lived in Izard County although an Izard County Kent descendant
along with my cousin and myself are convinced they are connected and are
doing some research.

Bernie, I have a snapshot of some people from years ago. I asked a relative
older than myself and he said some of them looked like Marlin's. Would you
recognize any of the older Marlin people?

be back on this site again.
