Atlantic Jeffery had a brother; Ambrose that married India Anna Hays Bishop (circa 1868).............and he was born in 1837, but this couldn't possibly be him. But, as you can tell from the two records, as they were transcribed..........the two neighboring Jefferys in these Stone Co. census records have parents born in identical birthplaces, MO and AR.
I reallize that this doesn't help you with the Langston part of the mystery........but, I am real curious as to what Jeffery family that this Acey belongs to.
Well, guess what?
It was in front of my face this whole time.........another brother of Atlantic Jeffery Wallace's is this gentleman:

Looks like at least there is your man and his Louisiana wife. I have a military record for him and well could be how he ended up with a Louisiana wife or were there Fourniquets in the area of Izard Co.?
Military record: Cimpany K, 1st Arkansas Mounted Rifles, CSA.
That help any?
