The Batesville newspaper Batesville Guard was around then I believe and they
are on line. I don't know if they do research or not.
I would send that address but for some reason my computer locked up when I
tried to go to that site.

You can go yahoo and type Batesville Guard and get the address that way.

There are some newspapers on film at the Library in Batesville but don't
have a phone number for you. Don't know what years they are.

Arksnas History Commission might be able to help.
They have all the availble newspapers on film.
