Baxter Bulletin - August 14, 2002

The Baxter County Historical and Genealogical Society announced this week
the deadline for the Baxter County Family History Book has been finalized
and is now Nov. 1.
The deadline will be the final date to submit information for the book.

According to Jane Andrewson, the group has received more than 350 family
histories. "We know there are families who have not taken advantage of this
opportunity to tell their history," she said. "We would like to encourage
anyone who has not sent in a family history to do so."

Histories are limited to 500 words and one photo at no charge. There is a
charge for additional words and photos.

Information may be sent to P.O. Box 1611, Mountain Home, AR 72654.
Information also may be delivered to Heritage Museum from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
Thursday, Friday or Saturday.
