Don't underestimate the old timers. My grandfather could go to a store and
buy a whole cartful of items but he would know to the penny what it cost. I
was amazed!!! They knew what they needed to know but they didn't know if
the census taker wrote their name right or wrong. Today we have to take a
calculator with us and its still not right. The cashier can't make change
when the electric goes off.
