Bernie, parents of Alonzo L. FOSTER are in North Fork Township, Baxter County, Arkansas, in 1880 census.

William FOSTER, b. 2 February 1825, TN, d. 3 December 1897; and wife, Rebecca Oliver MORROW, b. 9 January 1831, d. 6 September 1896.

Alonzo L.'s marriages: Martha Ann HALL, Mary E. LYNN, Katie SPEAK. So was Clarisse known as "Katie" ?

If I have this family record, you probably do, too. If you want to post this family, I'll add anything I may have.

I checked a little for obits on Speak and Foster but didn't find one.
If you have an idea when Speak died I'll try again.
Wonder if he was dead when Clarisse married Foster.
