<<Was Bertie a dau of Alonza's first marriage or has someone got the ages
wrong?>>
Joyce
Marilyn or someone may have already answered this question............but,
it appears to me (and why I don't know) that Badie and Bertie are one and
the same person.
Bertie/Badie Evada Foster (born April 11, 1911) married a Perry Hall. The
name of "Badie" may be a poor transcription that was picked up along the way
in research?
I show that the mother of this Bertie was Mary E. Linn - or seems it would
have to be her; with Mary's marriage date of August 26, 1909 to Alonzo, Sr.
Now, Mary E. Linn Foster was not deceased until 1919, if my information is
correct - but, ALonzo, Sr. is on the move once again and remarries to
Clarisse Linn in 1917. Now, if these two women are sisters or even kin -
that probably did not go over well at Sunday dinners - the sharing of
Alonzo, Sr.
So, I would say that those marriages and/or dates would need to be
confirmed.
