Calico Rock Progress - Sep 24, 1943
M. F. Hill Dies at Piggott Saturday
Mahlon F. Hill, native of Izard County, died suddenly at his home at
Piggott, Clay County, Saturday morning and the funeral was held at that
place Sunday morning. He was in business at Melbourne several years and
served several terms as postmaster there. He was in the hardware business in
Calico Rock in 1919-1920. He is survived by his wife, one son and two
daughters. (note Arkansas Death Record Index - Hill, Mahlon Fra.. d.
9-17-1943 in Clay County at age 74)
