Apr 26, 1926 - Pineville Citizen Dead
Henderson Morgan, age 55 years, died at his home at Pineville last
Tuesday, the 20th, after an illness of several days and burial took place at
Tremble Campground Cemetery Wednesday in the presence of a large crowd of
sorrowing friends and relatives. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Y.
Whitfield of Pineville.
Mr Morgan took sick about the first of March, suffering an attack of
flu or pneumonia. He was thought to be on the road to recovery, but last
Sunday he grew suddenly worse, death resulting at the time stated. Mr Morgan
was born near Wideman and all his life has been spent in the county, being
engaged at farming. He has lived at and near Pineville the past several
days. He was a splendid citizen and was highly esteemed by every one. His
unexpected death was a shock to the community. Besides his wife, deceased is
survived by three sons and two daughters.
