I didn't mean to be so picky, but I do like to know where information comes from.
There is no way I can visit all the counties where my ancestors originated and look
for information for myself. So when I accept the research of others, I ask for
documentation, whatever source they may have. I am more concerned with accuracy
that with volume, but that is just the way I do most everything. I have been
called a perfectionist, meant to be an insult instead of a compliment.

I have relied a lot on oral and written Whitfield Family history, but find holes in
that too. My Granddad always said Kizziah and her sons came to Izard County in the
fall of 1849. Not so, they were still in Cannon County TN at the time of the 1850
census, so it was probably the fall of 1850.

Thanks for your input. Will take a good look at the information you provided.
