I got a note from a Willis Finley who said that he thought that Zachariah Finley, son of Uziah and Milly Finley, was the father of David K. Finley. If that is true, it would make the Lucinda Unknown the wife of Zachariah Finley then.
All of the Finley accounts in the latest Baxter County History book say that Uziah and Milly Finley had four sons and then it names grandchildren but says it cannot be determined who the parents of the grandchildren are. No data is given on the Zacharia and Lucinda Finley in that publication.
Would there be any existing census records for the Zachariah Finley before 1850? He must have died and the Lucinda married the Robert Wynn in 1848 or so.
I just wanted to send this information to you to see if you could do anything with it. Thanks again for your help as I had contacted the Willis Finley, first before I posted the query, and he had written back that he could not place the Mildred Elizabeth Findley. Then when I sent him the note that you had sent me, he wrote back saying he was shocked to be able to put it together and that Zachariah Finley was the husband of Lucinda Unknown and father of those children.
I know that Bob Wolf will be totally awed by the information we have put together for him as he only found out who his James M. Wolf was about six weeks ago, and now he may have his maternal line also.
It is really nice to be able to help someone put the pieces together and though the Wolf is not my direct line, every little bit that fits makes my family more complete.
