Bernie,
I don't know what industries were there but I think that there was some
natural attractiveness to the place that drew people from the Ozarks there. I
remember seeing a photograph of my g gm's house from the 1940s or early 50s and
there was Enlarged photographes of Klamath Falls and also her favorite, Mount
Hood that was close by where she lived in Maupin, OR.
I haven't seen Klamath Falls but have visited Mount Hood and it is truly one
of those breath taking views of nature that makes you know in an instant that
there truly has to be a God that could have created something so beautiful.
Maybe the Ozarks dweller is just addicted to beauty in nature?

Do you believe this?
My grandmother could not read or write; so it was not her handwriting. But,
as I recall Mother told me that it was a relative that had visited my
grandmother there in Tulsa; during the late 1960s.
So...............what was the deal with this town?
