Cora Mae Neel

Cora Mae Neel died Wednesday in Chelsea's Colonial Minor Nursing Home.

She was 89. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Friday at Full Gospel
Church in Chelsea. Internment is at Chelsea Cemetery under the
direction
of Seaman-Blanke Funeral Service, Chelsea.

Mrs. Neel was born Jan 16, 1890 in Melbourne, Ar. to Luke and Marianne

Adkisson Brooks. She married Truman Neel in 1913 at Melbourne, Ar.
She
had lived in Chelsea area 37 yrs. Survivors include two sons, Linley
Neel
of Big Cabin and Ray Neel of Chelsea and two daughters, Clara Byler of

Chelsea and Faye Jones of Chelsea, two half brothers, Tom Brooks and
Ted
Brooks both of Arkansas, two half sisters of Arkansas, a step-mother,
Bell Brooks of Ar. 21 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, and
two
great-great-grandchildren.
