Don
From what his step-daughter told me; Arthur Sinor never had children - but,
did raise the Wynn children of Virgie's.

Hi Bernie, something else I just noticed on Sally's census information -
1900 census states that she and both her parents were born in Missouri
1910 and 1920 census states that her father was born in Indiana - Gideon's
older brothers: Calvin, George and Hiram were born in Indiana......hmmmm
And Francis Marion - this may be his first or second wife - (confusion on
names) notice the 3 Smith stepchildren.

Looks like either of those could fit in if they lost their
wife. Seems like it would be almost to late for them to come her to
work in the mining industry, as I thought probably Dolley Cox had
done. I was not able to attach him to any local Cox family.
Do you know where the information came from that George
Gross died in Clay Co. AR? In the 1900 Census in Pollard, Clay, AR. I
found George F. Gross b. Jul 1887 IN, living with his mother Armilda
Gross b. 1850 KY. If we can, his SSDI indicates he died in Clay Co.
Ar. I was wondering where we got that data, if we just used the only
one we could find in Arkansas that got close?
I was looking in MI because of the family connections?
