Thank you for the information. It is helpful to know that he had at least two sons. I found an article about Ralph Izard at www.famousamericans.net which mentioned a James F., born in Philadelphia in 1811, who was a son of George. He was also a West Point graduate, but died of battle wounds in Florida in 1836.
