John Wesley Williams, son of Andrew Jackson Williams and Elizabeth "Janie" Price was my great-grandfather. He married Lucinda Florence Jacobs 1887 in Stone County Arkansas, and they moved to Milam County Texas where I was born. Her parents were James Thomas Jacobs and Martha Ann Harris who moved to Stone County abt. 1870 from Hardeman Co. Tenn. with his parents Soloman and Olive Crawford Jacobs. They are buried in Stone Co.
I have I think Samuel and Nancy Ann Williams as parents of Andrew Jackson Williams, by elimination!

Also, Elizabeth "Janie" Price family:
1840 Van Buren County Arkansas, Union
Ezekiel Price and wife are age 20-30 with one son under 5, and older female 50-60.
On same page is Sampson Price, 40-50 with older female 50-60 and female 30-40 (probably wife). There is a 10-15 year old male; one female under 5, one 5-10, one 10-15, one 15-20. Sampson is probably father of Ezekiel, and they came from Weakley County Tennessee. Sampson is no longer in Tennessee 1840.

Only land patent for Ezekiel T. Price is 1883 Lafayette Arkansas when Ezekiel was probably dead.
Homestead Certificate was issued for Elizabeth Price could be widow of William.

John Price could be father of both Sampson and Ezekiel, or Ezekiel is son of Sampson...
You and I seem to be the only one's searching this family. Please stay in touch. Barbara Claiborne
