> Hi Group,
>
> Ive been gone for over a week and have missed everyone. Been on here
since about noon yesterday, but I haven't seen half a dozen messages from
anyone. Am I in never never land all by myself, or just everyone busy?
>
> Hope all is well with each of you. If I weren't so tired I'd go to the
Archives, but I'm still trying to dig out round here. Near 100 and has
been for days. My refrig got tired and said that's enough of that. So on
top of everything else had that to take care of.
>
> But I've had a wonderful break. All of the kids, and some of the younger
generation also, gathered at a halfway point for several wonderful days in
the woods. What fun. We had 4 generations gathered there, I thought that
wonderful.
>
> At one point a daughter (the second) made a point of saying how great it
was for us as a family to be there - then she turned and said "Mom & Dad -
thank you"!
>
> When I said "for what?" = the kids said "for this" - you taught each of us
to love this and now here we are with the younger ones. A lot more was
said, but you get the idea, made their Dad & I darned proud let me tell you.
>
> Also our daughter-in-law made the trip down from Seattle. First time
she's been back since she moved away 5 years ago. Steve has been dead 8
years now, but she told us all, she's family - and yes she is. Has a new 18
month old baby girl and she tells her that we are Grandma and Grandpa. Are
we blessed or what folks.
>
> We have seen her several times over the years, and she lets our grandson
spend a lot of time with us, but this was so very special.
>
> Okay just had to share folks, sorry about that. But we had a blessed
wonderful time. I had the motor home, 3 trailers, 8 tents and on and on.
Wowee. And my husband was cooking cobblers in the dutch ovens - Man were
folks surprise, including him, when I brought out ice cream from the motor
home. Boy is that roughing it or what.
>
> Okay back to work, just wanted to say a belated happy 4th and hope you are
all well and happy,.
