Hi Barbara,
It's been way too long since I have done anything on my lines, and I
thought I would be able to easily answer your question, but when I
went back to look at all the notes I had saved in my files, I cannot
answer that at the moment.
And, with having lost the last two years entries into my FTM, and all
my old messages from ages ago, I can't tell you for sure at the moment.
I am always open for new information, and I have not seen the John M.
BALLARD that you mentioned. It has always been a puzzle to me as to
why the family called their grandmother Elizabeth, instead of Sarah,
but I have definite proof of who she is from marriage and census
records of the entire family. Perhaps she had more names than just
Sarah L, and Elizabeth was just one more of her names. When I went
to ask questions of the older generation still left, none of them had
enough solid memory to really help me much.
Could you share the census information that you are referring to?
Thanks!
Jean
