Hey guys?

I have never looked into a connection to my grandmother's Blankenships and the ones that were evidently living in Baxter County. But, I am curious about something?

This Omri Blankenship that Cassie Florence Gilliland (b1905) was married to? Do you have any idea what family that he was connected to?

Seems as I recall that there was a Blankenship in the 1880s of Marion County that was arrested for and tried for rape. It could be that this Omri is from Marion County and not Baxter County?

I have been trying for years to find an unknown Blankenship that was evidently one of the marriages for Minnie Mae Sinor (b1889). Minnie Mae was married to Robert Berryman "Bob" Horn on April 15, 1906, then the Blankenship marriage and finally, per her father; James Francis Sinor's 1945 Mayes Co., Oklahoma obituary - she was listed as Mrs. Minnie Paxton of Davenport. I am assuming that Davenport was a community near Boatman - where Jim Sinor was buried or Pryor - where the newspaper was published.

Anyway, just wondering who the Blankenship was that she was married to and a light bulb went off when I saw this Omri Blankenship in the Gilliland messages.
