Why this name came up just now, I wonder ? ?

Wolf Cemetery Baxter County. AR
Sallie P. w/o James E. Wolf
Jan 21, 1862 - Feb 17, 1885
IS she the first wife of James E. Wolf ? ?
Did they have children before he married the Dora ? ?

Didn't find anything on James E. Wolf's death or a remarriage in Baxter or
Izard County.

1900 North Fork Twp Baxter County
family # 213-214
Wolf, Dora Jan 1865 - 35 wd (looks like ? ? md 13 yrs) 3-3 children
------- Maud E. Aug 1888 - 11
------- Herbert (C?) Aug 1891 - 8
------- Edmon E. Jun 1895 - 5

living next door
family 214-215
Adams, William R. Apr 1873 - 27 md 6
--------- Nancy B. Feb 1879 - 21 --- O children
Wolf, James A. July 1879 - 20 boarder
Adams, Enic J. Jun 1878 - 21 boarder

Enoch J. Adams and William R. Adams are brothers.

J. E. Wolf's obit Aug 1894 (buried Galatia Cemetery)
survivors include wife & 4 children, 1 bro and two sisters.
does not list them. To me this means there was at least.
I was hoping to find the names of his children.
I was hoping to find he was the father of James Alexander Wolf born abt 1880
and Martha Wolf born about 1885.
You can see James Wolf is living next door to Dora and children. Martha Wolf
was living with her uncle Abb Keeling in 1900.
If you add up the children with Dora born before Aug 1894 and the ones I'm
looking for it COULD BE. ? ?

I checked marriage records in Baxter County 1873-1920 and didn't find
another marriage for Dora.

Galatia Cemetery Baxter County
Doc W. H. H. Lackey 1844-1916 had 2 wives,
Mary "Mollie" 1852-1868
Addie 1854-1923

W. H. H. Lackey and James E. Wolf may have been Lodge brothers.
James E. Wolf''s wife Sallie is buried in the Wolf cemetery and he's in the
Galatia cemetery a few miles away.

> Can anyone tell me something about Dora Peel Wolf? I believe she was the

> What family does Walter Lackey belong to?

> Does anyone know what happened to Charles Hubert, Edwin, and Maude Wolf.
> They must have been rather young as their father had previously been

> I find the name of W.H.H. Lackey in the Iuka, AR newspaper, Aug 2, 1894
