I've heard, but have nothing to go on - Nancy Welch that married Lackey was
a sister to my John Welch b. about 1805 SC. His descendants came to Izard
County by way of Tishomingo County, MS. IF you find more on her line I would
love to see it.

> Children of Nancy B. Welch and Robert Waid Lackey are:

> 1887 Hopewell, Baxter County, AR.

> Andrew M. Lackey, b. Jan. 07, 1839
> Warren Gray Lackey, b. May 28, 1840 in Tenn.
> James Waid Lackey, b. Feb. 04, 1842, Hardin County, Tenn. *****
> William H.H. Lackey, b. april 09,1844 in Mississippi *****
> Mary Jane Lackey, b. Jan. 08,1846 *****

> John R. Lackey, b. Feb. 23, 1854

buried in the Galatia Cemetery Baxter County
John R. Lackey 23 Feb 1854 - 25 Oct 1867
Louisa Lackey 20 Jan 1852 - 10 Oct 1878
Sarah R. Lackey 23 Feb 1854 - 1 Oct 1865

Oct wasn't a good month for this family.

I can come up with a little info on the ones with *****

There's a book, written by May Lee (Lackey) Nelson. If you get to Mt Home,
Baxter County, there's one at the library.
