Okay

I know that Absolom that was born in 1829 served in the Civil War:

Military record: Served in 27th AR Confederate Infantry.

>From the birth of Sarah Caroline Langston (b1862); I find no other children
born to this Absolom, so to tell you the truth - my data shows that he was
killed in the War. I could be wrong?

I do have the ancient note, referencing this union of Absolom (b1829):

I'm searching for the parents of Nancy Elizabeth Adams - your Eli's Mother &
Grandson of Dorcas Young m: Absolom Langston. Dorcas is a sister to my 3rd
Gr. Grandfather, John Young In the book "The Descendents of James Adams and
Agnes Wilson," the author Leona Adams Loviska says that the wife of Absolom
Langston was Nancy Adams daughter of James Adams and Mary Kellough (who can
be found in the 1850 Izard County Census, North Fork township.) A cousin
of mine is 90% sure that the daughter of James Adams and Mary Kellough
married Miles Langson, who is my gg-grandfather on my mothers side. This
doesn't really help you but it has been bothering me to get cleared up.

Now, I can't recall what Miles Langston that this older message is referring
to?

Now, the Absolom (b1839) that was married to Mary Mahulda Pierson I really
think is Kathryn Langston's direct line. Here he is in 1860 and 1870:

13 July 1860 Izard Co., Arkansas census, Union Township, Benbrooks Mill Post
Office:
LANGSTON, Nathan 69 M farmer 1700/1200 SC
#493/493 Susannah 54 F TN
Absalom 20 M serving AR
Thomas B. 17 M AR
Caleb S. 16 M AR
Jane 14 F AR

1870 Izard Co., Arkansas census, Union Township:
LANGSTON, Abslom 30 AR
#43/44 Mary C. 28 GA
John S. 3 AR
Nancy C. 1 AR
MORGAN, Julyan GA

I know per his pension record that he died in 1915.

Did this all make any sense or did I just confuse the issue, guys?
