Gen?

Not sure if this confuses the issue and not sure that it will even be of any
help? I had looked at the Herrons because they were neighbors of my Denton
family in 1850. Thought maybe one of the Herron boys might have married my
Catherine Elizabeth Denton, you know? Anyway, I will dig some more - but,
you might want to browse over this chart?

Subject: [ARIZARD] Herron male with wife of Taylor surname? 1845-1860
orFountain connection?

> Do any of you Herron researchers have any knowledge of a Herron male who
married an Unknown (given name) Taylor about the 1840-60 time frame?
>
> The Fountain research has uncovered some evidence that states that Sarah
Fountain - wife of Edward Fountain had a sister that married a Herron; one
that married a Johnston; and perhaps one that married a Taylor. No given
names are available for these females.
>
> There is an Isaac Taylor b. KY with wife Elizabeth living next door to a
William Fountain and family on the 1860 Fulton Co., census.
>
> It has been thought that Sarah Fountain was in fact a Sarah Taylor but now
it needs to be decided if possibly she could have just been a sister to the
wife of Isaac Taylor or if she could have possibly been his daughter. Sarah
Fountain is listed as born in IL.

the Fountain line in any way?
