On Heritage Quest I found Rosa Crutchfield and the younger children in the 1870 census living in Newton County Prairie township with a didderent Jones. Guess , the grandmother had died by then, think the twins were 13. So I was wrong about them coming to live with Marion when their parents first died. I had always wondered why he enlisted in the war if he was the one responsible for his siblings but evidently they didn't come to Izard County until after 1870. I need to find my file on them before I say anything else. lol
