Also was hoping someone could tell me where the Dogwood Cemetery in
Pineville, Izard County is. There are 25 listed across the country on
Find A Grave and Pineville is one of them

Vera,
I looked him up on Ancestry and it said his father was Tom Brady Cothran
and his mother was Lena Lavon Hammon, but I found no military record for
him.  Does this help?

d. Jun 30, 1988 in Nevada

>From a file at Genealogy Library, News Paper unknown. Antlers,
Oklahoma.
- 'Master Sgt. Lee Miller Cothran, 41, died June 30 at Nellis Air force
Base in Nevada in a plane crash while on military exercises. Services
will be held in the Mills and Coffee Funeral Home Chapel in Antlers
Thursday, July 7, at 10 a.m. Burial will be in the Dogwood Cemetery in
Pineville, Ark., on Saturday, July 9. He was born Feb. 13, 1947, in
Paris, Texas, a son of Brad and Lena Lavon Cothran. He was a veteran of
Vietnam and had been in the Air force for 19 years. Surviving are his
wife Susan of Blythville, Ark.; his mother, who lives in Colvert, Okla.;
one brother, Tom Cothran of McKinney, Texas; and a sister, Mary Jo
Thompson of Colbert'.

Burial:
Dogwood
Pineville, Izard County, Arkansas


I tried searching SSDI and Military records and found nothing.
Of coarse he is the only one listed in this cemetery.
