Looking for information on a Nicholson family who moved to Alabama during the
early 1800's from South Carolina and then on to Arkansas.

First name may have been Angus. Would have emigrated from Scotland around
1800 with wife and two young sons. Wife died on voyage was buried at sea.
He remarried and with new wife/family moved to Alabama leaving the two sons
from first marriage in South Carolina.

Not sure when they would have moved to Arkansas but a visit was made by
someone in South Carolina to relatives in Arkansas about 1868.
