Is there anyone who has this Waldrop as an ancestor? (Listed
below my paragraph.)
My gr grandpapa Joseph Ryan Waldrop of Washington County,Alabama
was ambushed, shot and killed Aug. 16, 1870. He was in
Arkansas at one time married to Sara Catherine Alexander in
the early 1850s.

Does anyone know what the R stands for in this Joseph R. Waldrop?

There was a J. R. Waldrop that moved to Arkansas from Lauren,
South Carolina with a wife Isabella Boyd Waldrop.
