About 1890, my great grandfather Oliver P. Sweeny founded a US Post Office at Nady, Arkansas. The Post Office was named after my great great grandmother's family and was located in the Southern part of Arkansas County, about 25 miles South of DeWitt and mabe 8 or 10 miles South of Tichnor. It is in the Chester TWP for census purposes so over the years has been claimed by both Arkansas and Desha counties.

I am looking for anyone who might have a photo (or photos) of the store where the Post Office was, my great grandmother's house which was next to the store/Post Office or any other pictures of houses buildings located there. Of course I would also love to see pictures of any of the following family members or related: NADY, SWEENY, DODSON, SWEENY, JONES, WALLACE, MENARD, MITCHELL, WHITING, MALCOMB, MADDING, DUMOND, OR SIBLEY.
