Hello,
If there is anyone that connects to this family please I could sure use help
from anyone willing to share.


It appears that Claude had a sister named Nellie who married a Rouw and
that's the connection to that family.
I found Claude and Nellie in 1900 in Dora with their widowed mother. I've
attached a copy of the census page.

John Rouw married Nellie Waltermire on 15 May 1904 in Van Buren, Crawford
Co., Arkansas. Nellie was born on 21 Feb 1888 in Dora, Arkansas. She died 3
on 31 Oct 1975 in Van Buren, Crawford Co., Arkansas. She was buried in Gill
cemetery.

Mattie's marriage record should be in Dora.Married Aug. 26, 1922

Yes this I have it is Mattie Lynn Waltermore's marraige or marraiges I am
trying to find. I have found Pauline's marraige but for Mattie she married
a Claude Waltermier-Waltermore also Pauline is said to have had a
sister Betty Lynn who was crippled with a club foot I am unable to find her
either.Pauline thought Claude was her uncle yet he was married to Pauline.
Mattie the mother her name was Lynn before she married and Betty's name was
Betty Lynn Pauline dosen't know if she was gave Lynn as a Middle name of if
she was born out of wedlock.
This is my moms brothers wifes family line and when I started looking last
year there was 6 of Pauline's children now there are 4 another died July 4th
of this year and they asked me to help find there families.In Feb. Pauline
married William Nolan when she was 13 and left Van Buren,
ARK. and was never able to go back and see her family although she had 7
children she seldom spoke of her family and when she did it was very
little so the family has only there moms marraige date and Pauline's
mothers name Mattie Lynn and Pauline was born in Van Buren, ARK. 1922
which is what they put on her gravestone. They were told Mattie died when
Pauline and Betty were young and they were given to there uncle Claude and
when Pauline married Bettey was gave to either a preacher or
teacher with the name Mahoney- Mahoony which is why Pauline married at 13
but Betty stayed with them for all Pauline knows as Pauline was never able
to go back and see her family.
That is all the information Pauline's 7 children have. This is why I am
asking for help. They have no idea at all who there mothers family is
They have no pictures of there mother as a child and none of any of her
side of the family so there are no leads there and no papers either.
I would welcome any help.

Hello Everyone,
John was so kind to find to find Claude Waltermore in ARK. which could
be a husband to Mattie Lynn that had Pauline Waltmore. He is working for a
Hugh Rouw family and takeing care of his elder mother which has no name.

Given the timeline involved I decided to check the WW! Draft
Registrations for Van Buren, Crawford Co AR and I tried a soundex search
for WALTERMORE / WALTMORE to see if they had a listing for your CLUDE
CLOD
and I saw the following: WALTERMIER, Claude; age 22 born 04 MAR
1895. Natural born in Dora, AR USA. He was farming on the farm of Hugh
ROUW in Van Buren AR and he was supporting his mother [not listed by
name].
He was medium height, slender build, brown eyes, dark brown hair, not bald.
He registered at Precinct 02 in Van Buren AR on 05 JUN 1917. He could not
write but made his mark (x).
BTW there are many of the WALTERMORE in MO and WALTERMIER as well in
1900. But none of them have a spouse listed as Mattie Lynn in any
combination thereof.
