Terry, I, too, am looking in the Lonoke area. Would it be too much trouble
for you to look in the Index of your book, Murder, Mayhem, Missicellanea
Lonoke County, Arkansas for the surnames Goshen and Smith? I have
corresponded with Sherryl Miller, but did not know she was a writer. Thank
you and waiting to hear from you. Darline Smith

I have the book, "Murder, Mayem, Missicellanea Lonoke County, Arkansas"
compiled by Sherryl Miller and Shirley McGraw. It is an abstract of the
"Lonoke Democrat" from the time period of 1872-1900. They are ready to
publish a second book that begins in 1900. I purchased the book at the
Lonoke Public Library a couple of weeks ago. I believe it was $25.00 and
worth every dime to me. I found the death date of my gggrandmother,
Catherine Ruddle Wylie Evans, who died on December 25, 1890 and several
other
things on other family members. My family lived in the Cabot area and in
Magness township. If your family lived in Lonoke, there is a ton of info on
Lonoke residents.
