Myra:
I have been working on the Chambers, Legate, Swaim, Broyles, Wilhite,
Vickery and Tipton line for a long while now, this is my fathers line. I
have alot of information on the Wilhite/Wilhoite, and Wilhoit line, in
connection to the Broyles. Also I have two books that I purchased on the
Swaim linage that goes back to early 1600's about 1620 I think, which
married into the Legate line. I did respond to a post that I received from
a distant cousin of our talking about Col John Tipton. Her name is Edna and
she is going to be sending me information of this line via snail mail... I am
excited because this really has opened up this line for me, and what I have
been able to find out about our Col John Tipton has been of such interest to
me... I would love to share back and forth with you the line on the Chambers,
I do have information and documention on some of the line, from my former
trips to Lonoke... I have a large selection of Lonoke County books that I
have purchased, from Walls, and others, such has the marriage books, census
records, tombstone inscriptions, so I have ready access to alot of info..I am
looking forward to working with you on this line.. Again let me say thank you
for your help and information in advance..
