I have not done research on the Elrod family yet , my mother was an Elrod from Golden Lake ,Bassett ,Joiner and Wilson area. Grandpa Harry Elvin Elrod and grandma Millie (LaRue ) are buried at Bassett. There are tons of Elrods still living in those areas and are very helpful and friendly when I visited . I think just about anyone in town may help you search. It is a close knit community , I don't know any Albright ,Odom or Towells but I have not been there for many years. Good luck
