Unless I am sadly mistaken, I believe that Golden Lake is a township, not a
town. May want to check. I had family living in Wilson Arkansas in 1930.
In 1933 they moved to Keiser (sp?) Arkansas.
My dad was born in Mississippi Co Arkansas in 1906 and my mother moved to
Mississippi County Arkansas in 1912. She remained there until after she and
my father married and had 2 children.
My family names are Watkins and Wright...Know any of them? Laura

I'm interested in learning about the history of Wilson and was wondering if
the town ever had a newspaper or a historical society? Does anyone know of
any published histories of this town?
My family was from there and the 1920 Census lists them in Golden Lak, AR ;
where is Golden Lake in relation to Wilson?
