Bill:

I happen to hve both Volumes of "Montgomery County, Our Heritage." I
looked up your Jessee & Mary Oller. It looks like there are 2 different
spellings on him.

One article reads like this:

"One of the earliest records of a homestead in the Sims area is
that of Jessee & Mary Oller who filed for ownership of forth (40) acres just
northeast of Sims in 1848. In 1855, they sold it to Elijah W. Amerson for
$310. or $7.75 per acre." Sims was in the Sulphur Springs Township.

The other article show's Jess OLLAR b. in Edmonson Co. Kentucky in 1806
he lived in Illinois before coming to Arkansas. He married POLLY ALLEN also
born in 1806. Her father was Carr Allen, who lived in Montgomery Co. Ar.
They reared 13 children to adulthood.

Bill, do you this this is your Jessee, if so I will send you the rest of
the article. It also has a picture of the WILLIAM JESS OLLAR FAMILY, dated
1891. of Matilda, William Jess Ollar, Florence & Andrew Ollar.
