I have noticed the recent messages regarding TURNER in Perry County, so
thought this might be a good time to inquire about my Turner connection.
My GGGrandfather was Joseph CRAWFORD. He was married to Isabelle McCall.
She died in 1878, and he later married the widow of Elihu Nooner. Martha
Jane TURNER, my GGGrandmother. Martha was the daughter of Elihu TURNER and
Clarinda BRYAN.
My GGrandmother, Ellen Crawford was born in 1883. I believe Joseph died abt
1885. I do not know if Martha ever remarried or not.
Ellen married my GGrandfather, Jim Weaver. He was the son of James Weaver
and Margaret Ann TOWNSEND. James Sr was the son of William "Big Bill"
Weaver and Elizabeth, "Betty" Edwards.
I would love to hear from anyone who has ties with any of these families.
