Hi all,

We have 10 subscribers to the Polk Co AR mail list right now. Today I
placed a notice on the Polk Co site letting researchers know about the
mail list and how to subscribe. I expect the number of subscribers will
increase quickly now. Over the next few days I will be notifying persons
who have posted queries or signed the guest book that we now have a new
forum for discussing ideas and problems.

Thanks to you all for subscribing. All mail lists are now closed which
means that only those individuals who have subscribed to the list can
post to the list. And, you can only post from the email address you used
to subscibe in the first place. This had been done in order to cut down
on the spam messages being sent to lists.

I intend to mount a campaign for subscribers to the Polk Co list. Then,
will post some requests of my own.

Spread the word to other Polk Co researchers. Oh, remember, you need to
post your queries to the county page. It's o.k. to put them here also
but in order for non subscribers to find your query it needs to be on
the query page.
