Are you sure the last name was Burson? There were Burlesons in Prairie County in the late 1800 and early 1900s. Some are buried at Carlisle, AR. In my Burleson research I found many variations of spelling. Paula in Oklahoma

Sure wish I could help you. I do not know anything about an orphanage in
Prairie. I am searching for information about my grandfather, William
Elmore Halcumb borned 1873 . My father James Ervin Halcumb was from Prairie
county, borned 1907. I to have been searching the net and have come up with
nothing. I will be inquiring about an orphanage and if I come up with
anything will contact you.
