GRENADA, Miss. - William Cletus Blanton, 77, of Grenada died Sunday, Oct. 8,
2000, in a Grenada hospital. He was a member of the Church of God in
Grenada.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Church of God in Grenada with burial
at Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of National Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife, Leona Reba Blanton; six sons, Etoil of Gore
Springs, Miss., William Elbert Blanton of Grenada, W.C. of Salem, Thurman of
Fort Smith, Thomas of Lepanto and Dr. Doyle Blanton of Crystal Lake, Ill.;
18 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great
grandchildren.

EDNA DANIEL

LAMAR - Edna Earle Daniel, 86, of Lamar died Saturday, Oct. 7, 2000, in a
local hospital. She was a member of Lamar First United Methodist Church, a
lifetime member of the Women's Society of Christian Service and was a member
and past matron of Lamar Chapter No. 54 Order of Eastern Star, deputy grand
lecturer district No. 7 OES and grand representative to
Massachusetts.Funeral will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Hardwicke Funeral Chapel
with burial at Lamar Cemetery under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home
in Clarksville.

She is survived by one son, James of Herndon, Va.; one brother, James
Clifford Wilkins of Russellville; two grandchildren, Denise Carlsen of
Duluth, Ga., and James S. Daniel of Orlando, Fla.; and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Leon, Bobby Joe and Kenneth Wilkins, Robert E. and
Daniel E. Daniel and Dennis Pearson.

BILLIE NOLEN

HACKETT - Billie J. Nolen, 72, of Hackett died Saturday, Oct. 7, 2000, in
Fort Smith. She was a homemaker and a member of Plainview Assembly of
God.Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the U.S. National Cemetery
in Fort Smith under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith.

She is survived by four daughters, Debra Goff of Uniontown, Shirley Lee of
Van Buren and Sharon Jacobs and Mary Gilbert, both of Fort Smith; four sons,
Bruce Neighbors of Hackett and Rick, Billy and Bobby Nolen, all of Fort
Smith; five sisters, Ellen Ginn of Bentonville, Mildred Peak, Pauline
Roberts and Corine Turnipseed, all of Fort Smith, and Sue Steele of Pocola;
nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

HAZEL HOOD

OZARK - Hazel Hood, 85, of Ozark died Sunday, Oct. 8, 2000, in Ozark. She
was a Baptist and a retired nurse's aide.Graveside service will be 2 p.m.
Tuesday at Belt Cemetery, north of Ozark, under the direction of Shaffer
Funeral Home of Ozark.

She is survived by one daughter, Betty Easom of Ozark; three sisters; four
brothers; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Steve and Kenneth Easom, Rusty Jones, Travis and Clint
Johnson and Vard Carpenter.

DUSKY WILLIAMSON

PANAMA - Dusky Shane Williamson, 23, of Panama, Okla., died Saturday, Oct.
7, 2000, in Panama.Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Royal Oak
Cemetery in Panama under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of
Poteau.

He is survived by his parents, Elvis and Janie Williamson of Panama; one
brother, Elvis D. Williamson of Panama; his paternal grandmother, Bessie
Williamson of Panama; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Robert, Garrick and John Williamson, Jerry and Richie
Walden, Chris Simpson and Tim Real.

EUNICE BARTLETT

Eunice Elizabeth Bartlett, 78, of Mansfield died Saturday, Oct. 7, 2000, in
a Fort Smith hospital. She was a member of the Mansfield Assembly of God and
was retired from Ayers Furniture Co. of Fort Smith. She was the widow of
William Charles "Bill" Bartlett.Graveside service will be 2 p.m. today at
Hartford Memorial Park in Hartford under the direction of McConnell Funeral
Home of Hartford.

She is survived by one daugther, Katheryn Sue Reano of Huntington; one son,
Arnold Wayne Bartlett of Hartford; 13 grandchildren; and 14
great-grandchildren.
The body may be viewed today from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

RAYMOND GRABOSKI

POTEAU - Raymond "Papa G" Graboski, 85, of Poteau died Sunday, Oct. 8, 2000,
in Poteau. He retired as a mechanical engineer for Lockheed Missile and
Space Division, was active in the Little League snack bar fund-raising and
Panama senior citizens, a volunteer with the Department of Human Services
adult assistance, retired again from Sandy's Flowers in Poteau, was a member
of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Poteau and a member of the
Knights of Columbus. He was the widower of Eleanor Graboski.
Rosary will be recited 7 p.m. Tuesday at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Church of Poteau
with burial at Shady PointCemetery in Shady Point under the direction of
Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.

He is survived by four daughters, Sandy Daugherty of Poteau, Sharen Adair of
Key West, Fla., Patti Fink of Turlock, Calif., and Joni Rea of Poteau; five
sisters, Martha Hauser, Eleanore Nash, Polly Joseph and Mary Ann Genedak,
all of Minneapolis, and Loretta Polsuney of Big Lake, Minn.; one brother,
Leo of St. Cloud, Minn.; 14 grandchildren, Tim, Lora, Jim, Robbi, Ed, Jason,
Diane, Kevin, Tammi, Stan, Mary, Bobby, Brian and Michael; 11
great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Tim, Jason, James David and Jim Daugherty, David Lee
Eggleston, Bill Goodwin and John Lagier.

STEPHEN WHITE

Stephen Alan White, 51, of Charleston died Sunday, Oct. 8, 2000, in a Little
Rock hospital. He graduated from Hall High School, was a member of the
Marine Corps, serving a tour of duty in Vietnam, attended the University of
Arkansas and UA School of Law in Little Rock, won the American Jurisprudence
Award for excellent achievement in the study of Civil Procedure I and II,
was a member of the Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity, an attorney for American
State Bank and Simmons First National Bank and served as municipal judge for
south Franklin County, an active member of Western Arkansas Legal Services,
a member of First United Methodist Church of Charleston, where he was former
chairman of the board and charter member of the 3M Sunday School class and
building chairman of the building committee for the current building, member
and former president of the Charleston Chamber of Commerce, was awarded
Citizen of the Year and community servant, was presented the American Eagle
Award by American State Bank for outstanding community service, was active
in the cook shack at the Charleston Fair, a former member of the American
Legion, VFW, Charleston Lion's Club, Charleston Lodge No. 155, F. & A.M. and
director of Logan County Industrial Development Corp., a charter member of
the Board of Directors of Franklin-Logan Economic Development Corp. and
served a term as president.

He is survived by his wife, Tad; one son, Seth Aaron White of Charleston;
his mother, Elizabeth White of Charleston; one sister, Cynthia Hanback of
Memphis, Tenn.; and one brother, Edwin of Oregon.
The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral
home.
