Joe Wade
PAGE - Joe T. Wade, 74, of Page died Tuesday, April 9, 2002, in Poteau. He
was born Dec. 25, 1927, in Dry Fork. He was a Air Force veteran of World War
II and received the World War II Victory Medal and the Army of Occupation
Medal, a retired machinist for McDonald-Douglas after 31 years of service
and a member of Stapp-Zoe Baptist Church.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. today in Stapp-Zoe Baptist Church with burial at Page
Cemetery in Page under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda; three daughters, Sabra R. Waldrup of
Tulsa, Sandra K. Taylor of Mounds, Okla. and Joanna F. Soden of Heavener;
four sons, Tommy G. Wade of McAlester, David L. Wade of Galveston, Texas,
Darrell B. and Ronald J. Wade, both of Claremore, Okla.; 27 grandchildren
and 17 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Edward, Jason and Joshua Wade, Sam Wayt, James Waldrup
and Brandon Robbins.
