I am searching for descendants of MALISSA JANE GUEST b Nov. 19, 1844 marr William J. Garman in 1863; They had a daughter named Laura Alice. I know Malissa Jane Guest Garman died in 1917 in Sevier Co, AR.

I am descend from her sister (or she may be her cousin) ........LAURA CALDORA GUEST, born 1858, and married Frank Henry, in Clarksville, Red River Co., TX, Sept. 8, 1877. LAURA CALDORA GUEST HENRY & Frank Henry are both buried in POLK CO, AR. They had two children, FRANK CALVIN & ELLEN HENRY. I descend from Frank Calvin Henry.

LAURA CALDORA GUEST shows up on the 1860 Census in Red River Co., TX living with ANN WHEELER GUEST, along with four other Guest children (none of them belonging to Ann W. Guest). The other four children were:

1. Malissa Jane Guest b Nov. 19, 1844 marr William J. Garman in 1863;
they had a daughter named Laura Alice. Malissa died in 1917 in Sevier
Co, AR.
2. James Knox Polk Guest b 1847-1848--no further info
3. Sarah E. Guest b 1850, may have married John G. Minor in 1868
4. Susannah "Susan" Guest b 1854-1855 married (1) John T. Ray 1875 in RR
Co. & had 2 girls then mar (2) William Joseph Morrison ca 1879.
They're in Wise Co, TX in 1880. Susannah names a little girl "Laura"
after your Laura. Ann Guest was living with Susannah & her family in
the 1880 Wise Co, TX census and died there in 1885. We've never found
her grave.

I would love to hear from anyone connected to the above family.
