Part of what happened to the CAPPS is that John Paul CAPPS owned some
radio stations in Searcy and Bald Knob, then was elected to the State
Legislature and a bypass highway around Searcy is named for him and our
current Attorney General, Mike BEEBE, who also lives in Searcy and will
likely be the next governor of Arkansas. The road is called the
"Beebe-Capps Expressway."
John Paul is a deeply religious man and seems to lead an exemplary life.
