ELMO ELLIS

Elmo Ellis, age 82 of Griffithville, died Friday in Searcy. He was born December 7, 1922 to Fletcher
Ellis and Georgia (Bundy) Ellis at Griffithville. He was a member of the Dogwood Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Irene Ellis of Griffithville; four daughters, Betty Caradine and
husband Billy of Griffithville, Bonnie Bruce and husband Guy of Beebe, Diann Taylor and husband
Ken of Chelsae, Oklahoma, Kim Tripp and husband Billy of Searcy; one brother, Virgil Ellis of
Griffithville; two sisters, Sada Walden of Griffithville, Nina Hawley of Little Rock; sixteen grandchil-
dren and fifteen great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Fletcher and Georgia
Ellis; brother, Vester Ellis; and sister, Mildred Crystal. Funeral services are Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at
Dogwood Methodist Church at Griffithville. Interment will follow at dogwood Cemetery.
