Sorry I just came apon your query...... I do have a connection to Malahide Twp, actually Aylmer, but it is through my Great Grandmother Harriet Susannah Johnson b 1846, daughter of Wellington Johnson b 1817.
Harriets Daughter Margaret McDonald married my Grandfather James Marsh of Brantford Ont...(although when them meant he may have lived in Lyndoch, Norfolk County, Ontario).
