My Ashton family came from Wales.

Charles Ashton was b. 1760 in Trefeglwys, Montgomeryshire, Wales. He died there in Oct 1820. He married Mary Jones who was b. 1762.

They had a son named Valentine Ashton b. abt 1791 Montgomeryshire & died abt Mar 1847. He married Hannah Jones who was b. abt 1785.

They had a bunch of children, including Thomas Ashton who was b. Dec 1814 in Llanidloes, Montgomeryshire and died Nov 1865 in Glamorgan. He married Jane Thomas b. abt 1821 & d. 1880.

One of their children was John Ashton who was b. Mar 1861 in Montgomeryshire & d. bef Apr 1891 in Pennsylvania. He married in Glamorgan to Martha Ormond b. Oct 1862 & d. Feb 1917 in Butler Co., PA

If any of these names are familiar, please let me know. I do have some birth/marriage/death certs for the above people and their families.
