Looking for information on Elizabeth ASHTON (name spelled at times
ASTON) who married Matthew Webster. Webster was born about 1564 and
was father of the John Webster who was first governor of Connecticut.
The ASHTON/WEBSTER life together was most probably spent in or near
Leicestershire, England inasmuch as this is where John Webster's
father was from.
