This is true. I picked up a Digital Camera from Wal-Mart a Polaroid PDC640
for $182.00 (final cost)

It comes with a 2MB SmartMedia card in it & will take 4 settings 12Hi-res,
24, 36, or 96Low-Res pictures. The 8mb card will do 45Hi-res, 90, 142,
330Low-Res pictures.

The only drawback is that the 8mb card $20.00 is the biggest you can use in
the Camera.

But it will take good read-able pictures of Printed pages
